For sure. Im not gonna be disappointed if they don’t release another album/project that compares to this, but if they do then they’ll be at the forefront of the genre as a whole imo
Also, the production on this is fucking immaculate. The guitar tones on Screaming are ear candy

I think they will, last release was an experiment. Live they play all the jams off the last couple albums and you can tell they're super into. Anticipating the next album to slay

These are supporting Fightstar in March so thought I should check this out. Fun album so far! Vocals are awesome, especially the cleans. Pretty varied for the genre too, A Sad Cartoon was a nice surprise, love the groovy riffs!

for those wondering how they sound live: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S-Ok8r0DagE
and this is with a replacement drummer. Apparently Sean had to get heart surgery? Can't find anything official to confirm that, just random comments saying so but he def isn't touring rn as you can see in the video.
I remain in the sceptic camp re their new album and a -should have a 2nd guitar at least for shows-truther btw, but the fact that they somewhat lean towards the heavy stuff live makes me at least a bit hopeful in regards to their new stuff. But I'm one of the few who likes Cold Sun more than this one so I guess no one should listen to me

Plan to revist Cold Sun very soonish. I checked it in 2020 and wasn’t really a fan. But this could have changed by now, since i listen to the heavy tracks in the gym a lot (especially Gored and Heavy is the Head). Heavy is the Head is Loatheheaven and there should be more of this sound

Gave it some time to sink in, and it's definitely a killer album. Probably a bit too heavy with the Deftones worshipping, it's borderine plagiarism in parts lol. Albums clean as a whistle though, everything is really tight and sounds great. Nothing exactly genre defining though but I know for sure it's gonna translate incredibly well in the live shows.

The fuck they on about though, almost 4 years now waiting for a new proper album. It's not like they are an artist with a vast discography already
