High notes on Satellites really reminds me of that lead vocal in DGD... he walks that very, very thin line between great high and just plain annoying wailing.

Can't speak for y'all, but personally the more I enjoy/care about an album, the less caught up I am with the mix of numbers people assign it and the more concerned I am that it gets attention in the first place. If you enjoy something, that should be validation enough for your enjoyment - an average score of other people's opinions should be a yardstick at most

don’t get nin vibes from crush at all if anything it reminds me of some early linkin park but that’s largely in the vocal line and the general sound of the electronics. nins electronics sound way less bright
