Anyone who hates on Stairway loses hearing privileges for life

7[2] stairway hate is the worst jaded contrarianism

Stairway is good
Levee is better
Black Dog is horny jank and I'm increasingly certain it has no life anywhere other than the karaoke booth
|
| |
Black Dog is the quintessential ~50s/60s year old drunk dad with a beer gut karaoke song, but tis good

RE Zep not writing Levee...go and listen to the original. Zep's version very different--kept the lyrics and the vocal melody, but that's about it. If someone played just the music of the 1927 Memphis Minnie original, no one would recognize it as Zep. Just sayin'.

yea never really gave a shit about the “plagiarism”, hip hop and synthpop prolly wouldn't exist without the Levee breaks drum sample

LZII is my favorite (Physical Graffiti a close 2nd) although this one rules too. White Stripes owe their entire career to WTLB

This is clearly my favourite album of them, despite I also deeply love Led Zeppelin II and Houses Of The Holy.
However, I can confess that I love all their studio works, in different levels.

Cannot decide which one of theirs is my favourite. It's between I, IV and Houses of the Holy.

It’s this or Houses for me, Graffiti has some fluff

I agree, it has some fluff on it. But despite it, I still like it very much. So, Physical Graffiti never was one of my favourite albums of them. Actually, I prefer their five first studio albums before it.

III > IV / Houses > II > I (really not bothered for I)
guess I should check again for good order's sake (+ actually get to Physical Graffiti at some point!)

3 - II
4 - III
5 - I
6 - Physical Graffiti

iii, iv, and physical graffiti are the only real answers for a top 3 but the order doesnt matter

'iii, iv, and physical graffiti are the only real answers for a top 3'
I'd agree with that.
People accuse PG of fluff but...
III and IV have a pair of fluffy tracks on each for me, and they're shorter.
