yeah it’s refreshing to hear a band be honest about the difficulties they have and genuine reasons as to why they’ve had to cancel. they’ve also tweeted a bit about how weird it is they can’t gain traction in the US and questions about why it is (lack of exposure, being pigeonholed as a black metal band, etc.) it is really weird. at the nyc show everyone was dressed in black, black metal shirts, patches and buttons etc. why is it so hard for them to gain new fans?

finally got my copy of the new album and lol at this liner note:
PS: another approx. fifteen minute piece we played on the night has been omitted - we simply found the stretch a bit uneventful - so this release is not the full one hour and a half. We may have truncated some stuff at beginnings and ends, plus edited some blips and blops. Also note some distortions here and there. Fuck it, we figured, it's live after all.
