But that completely misses the point that production coexists with ideas to flesh it out and give it life while graphics power just gives a higher visual quality to concepts which are evident and usually as impactful without it. Two completely different things, production is nearly as important as the ideas the artists want to convey.

disagree. a lot of games couldn't exist without specific graphical advancements. no one is arguing that production has no influence on the music, but it's just about the last thing i care about with music, usually. just like when i play games the graphics are the last thing i care about.

it's not about the audio quality though it's about how the production cna be used artistically to enhance certain concepts at the root of the music, how it meshes with other elements of the music to flesh out the artistic vision of the creator perfectly
