Horrible job of trying to dismiss what Kanye has contributed in the past and say that it has no affect today. 0/5

“Kanye being a Kardashian now makes him more relevant by default though.”

Just because new stuff happens all the time doesn't mean you get to dismiss the past that was one two five ten years ago. Things that happened ten years ago matter not just the latest release and the newer shit.

Kanye's relevancy doesn't even have to involve his footprint on modern music, the list of artists who could drop an album tomorrow and it be a bigger deal than Ye dropping a new one is very slim, especially within hip-hop.

Maybe Frank Ocean right now, but Kanye’s still at peak relevance.

His music hasn't really declined in quality, but I guess what you have to say is the word of God.

Plus, his body of work coupled with the fact that he still gets acclaim for his modern material more than qualifies him as still being deserving of being relevant, regardless of how you seem to feel about his recent output.

His relevance is absolutely based off of his art still, don't know where you've been but people really enjoy his stuff.

The dude doesn't sell out venues on a tour because of his personality and he doesn't get those same arenas to sing every word because of his personality either. His relevancy still has so much to do with his music, his clothes, and his shoes, as it has for years.

This album kind of blows, except for like 5 solid songs

Beyond the still painful Silver Surfer Intermission I enjoy everything on here.

"First of all, I never said he wasn't relevant to the general public. I said he doesn't deserve to be considered relevant right now"
