Oh sweet, just over a week m/

Still cautiously optimistic but nowhere near as hyped as when Arche was about to drop.

Same, but I liked Ranunculus more than you...

You two should give the band I rec'd a try cuz you may dig. It's the closest we have to the Diru you love for now.

I love Diru when they choose the ballad route tbh, Rinkaku is my fave song by them.

The newer tracks just feel pretty bland and are poorly produced, that's my issue.

Also I watched the mode of marrow show the other night and Utafumi just blended right the fuck in, it's that average

for some reason it also made me realise that it's one jump-out characteristic that i recognise it by (the falsetto jump Kyo does in the verse) was already done in Beautiful Dirt, so it can take a fat fucking L as far as I'm concerned

“The newer tracks just feel pretty bland and are poorly produced, that's my issue.”

Poorly produced is one way of saying it, I’d say whomever took over for the dude who produced Uroboros RM & Expanded, DSS, The Unravelling, And Arche should have his audio engineering license revoked.

I remember hearing a few people complain about how The Unravelling and Arche sounded, but those sounded like the best produced albums ever in comparison to everything we’ve heard from this new album so far.

"do not check Sadie lol"

Even if you told me to do the opposite, I wouldn’t have checked them out anyway, lol. If I didn’t check them out back when I was searching for good J-Rock/J-Metal, I certainly wouldnt check them out now cause that period ended for me lol

Which metalcore band is that

IDK what metalcore band is this Aberf, but one thing’s for sure and that’s if I had never listened to good metalcore before and this was my first exposure to it, I would’ve put it straight in the trash bin.

Edit: Ok...I gave it a few more listens...s'ok. The beginning is the worst moment in the song. Reminds me of early DEG at times but w/modern production and stuff. Whether that's good or bad depends on your opinion of early DEG (pre-Withering).
