Easily the bands most invigorating work since Hybrid Theory. I heard Chester finally kicked his pharmaceutical habit, wonder if that has anything to do with it.

Chester was a meth/heroin junkie prior to Linkin Park and one key event that he doesn't like to talk about was that he was molested in middle school (which is what Points of Authority is about)

Well, now that you mention it, the lyrics do sound like they are about child abuse, but you sure it's related to Chester ?

Chester has mentioned it in an interview but I really can't seem to find it anymore for some reason. Says it was by "an older friend" he trusted

I'm pretty sure I've heard it a couple of times, bit I'm not sure if it was here or somewhere else.

So I heard Blackbear has been hanging around with Linkin Park in-studio. He's been known for producing and songwriting for artists like Justin Bieber, G-Eazy, Machine Gun Kelly etc.

Should we be afraid ?

Quite possibly... I hope they don't end up making Living Things 2.0

Well LP tend to always write their own stuff and when they bring in people from outside its usually not to help with songwriting, so hopefully not

Well the presence of any kind of a R&B producer is not promising, but let's see.

Challenge: try to imagine Chester singing R&B without cringing

Chester earned the nickname Chester the Molester because early in linkin parks career he used to sleep around with a lot of his bands groupies who are typically quite young

Listened to this album on a plane to drown out a very persistent screaming child. Gotta say I enjoyed this a fair bit
