KnickFurey rules. Disagree wholeheartedly with his thoughtful evaluation of this album but there's no denying the man's conviction.



Definitely isn't an album meant for mass appeal but, at least for me, this one scratches an itch that only bands like Death, Necrophagist, Decrepit Birth, Origin and very few others can. The technical complexity and counterpoint also appeal to me in the same way I appreciate Baroque master composers like Bach, Vivaldi, Telemann, etc.



Busy isn't necessarily bad if you can still hear the forest through the trees.
