Lol irony! I honestly don't understand why so many people get butthurt if they get called the "wrong" straight edge.

i understand why you'd feel like that, but we're not all like that. i just don't see any reason to drink or smoke, so i don't. it does nothing for me. eating meat and having premarital sex don't really have anything to do with being straightedge though.

All I'm saying is I don't see the point in create a label on yourself for something that really isn't a big deal. And a lot of edge people I know are also hardcore vegans and against premarital sex, which is why I threw that in there

I don't think being edge is bad, I just feel labeling yourself as such is silly

Pages ago, funny things were being said. If we can't converse constructively, can we atleast actually BE funny like the shit that was going on earlier?

Great review, I loved the criticism on the first album. I thought it was pretty spot on.

I tried to get into these guys, but the vocals kinda kill it for me. What are, like, three songs to get me to try again?

I've come to realize that the cool thing to do is hate La Dispute, so thank you internet.

Jordan's lyrics are heart felt and on point, he speaks with intelligence and emotion. If you can't appreciate that, I don't feel your opinion on music is even the least bit acceptable and you should keep your mouth closed.

Anyways, awesome review. This album speaks volumes about their progression, every single one of them are moving forward as artists. I do prefer "Somewhere at the Bottom of the River..." over Wildlife however this album is nothing short of positive progression and depicts exactly what the purpose of music was supposed to be - story telling.
