you're missing the point though, Neige said after his first demo that he no longer wanted to produce traditionally cold depressing bm, hence the reason he completely changed his style to the 'lovey dovey' stuff like this. I agree the bm vocals seem a little bit forced in this and the one after, its clear that he much preferred clean singing but atleast they give the music abit more variety.

tbh idc about artists and their opinions regarding their own works. neige could make a sunbather in 2010 if he wanted to but he didn't cuz neon. is perfect as it is but this one seems kinda off and fell short quality-wise since Souvenirs and Neon. were the benchmark for blackgaze sound back then.

gonna have to agree to disagree there i really like .neon but i prefer this, probably the nicest guitar tone ive ever heard and some beautiful melodies, i really dont even see this as a black metal album though its got about 3 minutes of black metal in it
