Have to say Maiden, but that does not take anything away from Priest

Yeah, it isn't like they're worlds apart or anything. I just prefer the riffs, leads and vocals of Priest to those of Maiden.

That, and I prefer my Top Priest 70's songs over what may be my Top Maiden 80's songs. And this beats any 80's Maiden for me.

But it's a close race really, since both bands made amazing material.

"Anyway, I wonder how many drugs these guys had in their blood when they did this."

It wasn't drugs man, it just that at the point Maiden recorded Seventh Son, they had unlocked the dead-ends

of their creativity.

Here in the states, Maiden has always sold more albums and had more successful tours. Judas Priest could never sell out Madison Square Garden and other arenas alike nowadays.

Generally speaking, do I think more album sales equals better music, absolutely not.......but within the metal community and the fact that these acts are rivals, it certainly does in this case.

The demand for Maiden is so much greater here because the music is better.
