Same!!! Although ObZen is about equally good at least. All of them are high quality of course.

Never will I understand what people want in production. To me this is one of Meshuggah's best produced albums and their newest is by far their worst produced.

Probably a lot of it is preference, some cases it’s pretty clear that the productions not great. I’d say obzen is easily my least favorite production wise and I dig their latest one funnily enough.

I guess as long as I can hear the riffs and junz the production doesnt matter much to me. Obzen is 5/5/5/5 too

I guess Koloss has my least favorite production, even if it has a few of their most massive moments. something about the modern style that made it sound a bit too digital for my taste.

this one, as razor-sharp as it is, is my second least favorite yet the bass tone is one of my favorites ever. made me yearn for more mechanical bass tones.

"I guess Koloss has my least favorite production"

for sure. The guitars have that kind of flat scrunchy sound that really is a step down from the organic growl ObZen had. TVSOR has a much better sound, but it also sounds like an upgraded but still slightly scrunchy Koloss sound.
