Ehhhhh
You really like Repentless, man? Slayer's all about those riffs but that album is chock full of bland ones imo.

Nah, was being sarcastic. Repentless is ok, but it's pretty generic modern thrash imo. Not as bad as some make it out to be, but no more than 3/5

I wish Gary Holt had more writing input on Repentless. Gary seems like the only member of the group that doesn't sound "tired" considering how solid Exodus' Blood In Blood Out turned out to be. Repentless drags like a motherfucker tbh.
|
| |
What are you talking about? Blood In Blood Out is uninspired too.

It's definitely better than Repentless. Gary and Lee can still riff like the best even if Gary seems to be running out og ideas at this stage of their career.

The album is auto-pilot but has enough great stuff on it to compensate.

I was 9 when this came out. I remember my cousins playing this in their basement on their extremely christian mother's record player.
"The album is auto-pilot"
How the hell is this auto-pilot? This was insanity back in '86.
