difference there is, rush's music is constantly changing hence the progressive side of it, AC/DC's doesnt, plus AC/DC is talentless shit anyways.

Jeez look at all you n00bs! FIRST, I could list a TON of their songs for you that don't sound the same at all! WTF are you people talking about? Listen to High Voltage and then Dirty Deeds, listen to Back In Black and then Razor's Edge. After all that, listen to Stiff Upper Lip. There are quite a bit of a differences between albums and songs, lots of songs are very orginal for the band. But you know what? Even if a lot of them sound the same, that's somewhat the plan here. AC/DC never wanted to "adapt" with the era, they kept playing their good ol' fashioned rock 'n roll. Which is what everyone expects.

I was a HATER for a long time, but now have gotten into them a lot. I really like a lot of songs by them that a lot of you dumbasses probably haven't heard of. You can't just listen to BIB all day long and call yourself an AC/DC fan. BIB is FAR from their best song. Quite a few of their albums I could consider to be better than BIB as well.

As far as the whole singer thing goes, Bon Scott was one of the greatest Rock 'n Roll singers of all time, whether you admit it or not, it was talent, and he put his own bit of energy in too to keep the audience rocking. Brian Johnson is also a very good singer, but won't ever replace Bon. But where would they be without Brian? You really have to be the kind of person who likes high energy music with gut twisting lyrics and vocals and fret-ripping riffs that keep the audience from sleeping. It's very distinctive yes, but awesome, and sounds better than Rush by the way.

They are one of the greatest rock 'n roll bands of all time. NEVER miss a chance to see them live! They are the greatest (no exaggeration) band ever to see live. Even to this day!This Message Edited On 06.27.06

lol I was saying that because lots of people judge the band by hearing only their very popular songs like Back In Black, Shook Me All Night Long, etc. (which are all yet good songs)



It wasn't my intension to sound like I was calling people dumbasses just because I'm bragging about the songs I've heard. Of course, it doesn't go for everyone here, many know more than me.



You really have to listen to more of their other material, and for some, be more open-minded. They've even got some blues and slower-rock songs going which is very refreshing! It's really ok not to like them, what ticks me off is when people bash them by saying "they suck balls". I mean come on, have some respect.

Did I not say you can disagree with me? I didn't call anyone a dumbass because they disagreed with me, those are people who judge a band by one or two songs and bash them, which is a justification by the way. and me asking wtf is wrong with people with that same issue makes sense to me.
