Highs on this are higher than those of Empire but Empire is way more consistent.

I like the t/t, Out of Mind, and Someone Else more than anything from Empire

Anybody Listening is a stone cold masterpiece
with that though, Damaged, the t/t, Global, and One More Time have always been my favorites here

Never been a huge fan of Global but the rest of those are great.
My favourites on Empire are Della Brown and Silent Lucidity.

You're not alone, I love Global Mind. Sweet drumming, cool funky flavor and the calmer section is a beauty. And what about that little monster riff in the chorus (~1:15)?

My Global Mind is a great track. It just doesn't fit with the gloomy atmosphere of the rest of the album.

It adds to the variety at least and I love how it explodes right after Lady Jane.
This is the hardest 5 ever on the right day. Well, or maybe wrong day

I did not like this album on release i probably have listened to it 4 times in 23 years but i have recently bought the vinyl and gave it a couple of spins, the beauty being i could not skip tracks and i must say like the review states a few things are falling into place and it's getting better a very dark interesting album still nowhere near the 3 that came before it but worth a listen

I think this is better than Empire and The Warning and it's still their most experimental work. It sure has its inconsistencies though

The t/t is like Pink Floyd playing doom metal and it's so crushing, it wrecks me every single time
