I understand that you are not supposed to understand death metal vocals... they are more along the lines of another instrument. but that's no excuse to make them sound horrifyingly bad. Its like they focused on making them the most brutal they could possibly be, and they came up with this growl that literally makes your ears bleed. Everything else is great, but their vocals are like a 2 stringed banjo with a big gaping hole in the back of it that is bleeding profusely of organs and entrails and all their lyrical themes (pretty clever comparison huh).

this is an awesome album. for the people who bitch about the lyrics, your the target audience of cannibal corpse, they want to offend you. Cannibal Corpse lyrics are a novelty and are extremely brutal. it's just like a horror film in music form basically.
