The drummer is awesome, the guitars are pretty good, I think it just needs a few times to make it stick.

This review thread is funny.
I don't know anything about Converge at all, so I don't have an opinion on the album. But seeing all the staff and approved reviewers running around going 'IT'S JUST GOOD K' and 'UR SO GAY U DON'T UNDERSTAND THE GENIUS' cracks me up. It's like the hypocrisy in this thread reached critical mass, and suddenly became an acceptable attitude.
I'm not sure if I even want to listen to these guys, because I'm afraid of being talked down to if I don't end up liking it.

It's appalling that this album has an average score of 3.6 at the moment.
It is still growing on me further - I enjoy every song on the record even though Plagues is a little boring.
