this album is terrible overrated and very mediocre. after 30 seconds they become extremely boring. the same drop C european death metal rip off riffs. the singer has no variety and the band seems to write the same song over and over again. and the fact that the drummer uses a trigger makes them that much worse

if i would have one good thing to say about this band it's that they can be a gateway band, a band that will get younger people into better, heavier stuff

this sounds like at least a 2,5/3. NEVER a 1,5.

Average Album at best. An Ocean Between Us is pretty good though.

He has to use triggers. I don't think there's any way he could double bass that fast and still get that amount of volume.

Nah dude. Triggers don't even speed up the drums btw... it's more or less for a better sound on the drum, but occasionally the trigger will misfire and make it sound like you're playing slower or faster than you actually are if they are shitty triggers. But I can play this song no problem on drums with a lot of volume. If you want to see insane double bass that puts jordan manchino to shame look up derek roddy or marco pitruzzella.

The lyrics to this album make me laugh, theyre all either about a woman, or God; or both at once.

But the two good songs are 94 Hours and Distance Is Darkness (only the first couple of minutes of the latter though, the clean singing kinda puts me off.)

Great review.

this album definately has a triggered bass drum, but he's still playing the parts, you can tell because every time he hits the drum, the sound Is EXACTLY the same, theres no dynamics. and its also very possible that Jordan tracked the album (to a click track obviously) and Adam D replaced the bass drum hits with triggered ones digitally. the bottom line is, triggered or not, his feet are going that fast
