No Life
Just pain
and fear

Afraid to Shoot Strangers deserves more of a mention. For roughly a minute after the 2.44 mark it's incredible.

I remember my awe when I first listened to FotD. My guitar teacher advised me to do so, as all I knew were Scorpions, Pink Floyd and Queen. Maybe Beatles too. Anyway. I bought the Live At Donington cd and thus it started. Afraid to shoot... is easily one of the best songs in this.

Opener is sweet, but def not on par with earlier ones.
Fear is the Key is good too, as is Afraid to Shoot Strangers.
I guess Maiden kinda chose to play it safe with this one. None of the fancy elements present on their first 7 are to be found here.

album would be a pretty solid 4 if it wasn't almost half bullshit filler
I mean I love Judas Be My Guide and Afraid To Shoot Strangers as much as the next guy but there's no defending nonsense like Weekend Warrior
oddly enough I do like The Apparition even though it's just like those same filler tracks I'm deriding, I could never say why
