I don’t think any of them are bad at all but it’s definitely the most throwaway. Tbh melodeath in general is kinda hard for me to appreciate. Theres a lot of good riffs but so many bands do absolutely nothing to separate themselves from the pack.
The most important thing that we should all be able to agree on is this band has always been better than In Flames.

Wildcard how do you feel about earlier At The Gates? I noticed you don't have any pre-Slaughter albums rated and that's their best material in my opinion.

Det Oerkorda is one hell of a riff fest.

I would put peak In Flames a bit ahead of ATG... but yeah average wise, ATG comes out ahead

Personally think Slaughter of the Soul is the best melodeath album I’ve heard but I’m more than happy to be proven wrong… none of the classic In Flames records match up to me
