From this melodic Volumes fan who prefers the Via era, yeah I mean if we could offer the band a branching path loaded with mushrooms, sure I would vote yes.

i think part of it is just, you can't re create a time or place for art. the members, the era of vibes, whatever influences you to make something is unique to that moment.

just kinda wish they could do heavy with less muddy guitars this time around and blend the pop into the metal better.

suffer on doesn't even feel like a song it's just a run on of new patterns and screaming for 4+ minutes. don't get me wrong, the one melodic bit that reminds of VIA is dope though.

ended up being about what i thought. half pretty solid fun jams and half pretty dull. bad habit and adrenaline are fun pop songs, love that direction. california and dream were a bit too much on the corny meter. some of these lyrics are just ridiculous lol. i had fun with bottom dollar too, kinda hip hop esque groove. and suffer on is probably their best heaviest song in a long time. the features really added a lot, i've gotta check black sheep wall out.

black sheep wall doesn't sound anything like their feature just a heads up, but they're pretty good. give this album a couple more spins and it sinks its teeth into you.
