I don't think this will top Perverts as my top release of 2025 but it is getting very close. Also It's insane that Ethel has a feat in this. Not everything hits but when it does, it's among the most grandiose music moments of the year.

There's one thing I like about the Dead Magic / Iconclasts comparison - I haven't dug into the lyrics yet but from some parts I understood that this record is down to earth and dealing with very personal issues, is that right? Like I always had impression from Anna's music that she's impersonating all these witches, spirits, demons and stuff in her performance. But now she's singing from her own perspective which makes the record even more impactful. Does that make sense?
