Yeah closer is something special. Feels like the perfect marriage of the eps/untitled and Ultrapop

In the wake of our existence, in our parades and in our dances… Touch, see and behold the wisdom of the party program, essential in our lifetime and irresistible in our touch. The great spirits proclaim that capitalism is indeed organized crime, and we are all the victims.

Yeah, speaking of, anybody also thought about The New Noise during that "nothing is my fault" section at the end of Purity Drag?

This is growing on me. Frantic as hell here and there but definitely cohesive and structurally solid.

The less hardcore inflected moments on this kind of sound like what interpol may have sounded like if they came from detroit and did jenkem

I think Callous Daoboys clears this, I also really love the new Tropical Fuck Storm. I think I like the Deafheaven album more than this too, Crippling Alcoholism, Der Weg Einer Freiheit, Ethel Cain, and For Your Health are all in the mix too. I know I’m forgetting a few

Did you check out the Jackal Twins debut Xing? Some very very good mathy post hardcore, some noise influence too. Easily my favorite debut of the year

I’ve been sleeping on a few of those albums. I expect Crippling Alcoholism to be my favorite of the bunch based on their last LP. I haven’t heard of the Jackal Twins before. Will jam ASAP!
