I don't really care for the vocals much, this sounds way more like metalcore or BTBAM, but the songwriting definitely improved since the last couple of releases.

A lot of the tracks that I initially thought were weaker here are starting to click for me now, enjoying this release more and more with each listen.
I think really the only weak spots for me still are A Parasitic Dream and the intro track (which just feels like filler to me).

tbh I'm not sure I'd even classify this as death metal anymore, it's more just prog metal with some death metal elements. this album is solid but it really has not grabbed me like some of their other releases.
