This is better than City Burials but not better than Sky Void and nowhere near as good as Fall of Hearts

I loved City Burials and got some joy out of the previous album.
This album is offensively mid. It's a no from me.

A re-run after, this is actually pretty great. Y'all gonna be pissed when I do a Katatonia ranking.

I still enjoy this one a lot too. I find the band pretty consistent generally, they don't wow me often but they're never less than enjoyable.

This one isn't terrible, just boring, especially by Katatonia standards.

Not the most desirable follow up to Sky Void of Stars but it's solid. Lilac has an awesome outro, Wind is catchy as hell, Thrice outrights bangs and Efter Solen is Efter Solen. I'm content.

Yeah, Sky is one of their best albums imo. At least this is better than the monstrosity that is City Burials.

I disagree, but two of their past three albums haven't been up to par.

All three have annoying guitar tone and a tendency to drag, but all are good. SVoS because it's loaded with bangers and the other two because they flow really well with an occasional banger here and there.

This is decent, I wouldn't call it good and City Burials flat out sucks lol.
