Not the most desirable follow up to Sky Void of Stars but it's solid. Lilac has an awesome outro, Wind is catchy as hell, Thrice outrights bangs and Efter Solen is Efter Solen. I'm content.

All three have annoying guitar tone and a tendency to drag, but all are good. SVoS because it's loaded with bangers and the other two because they flow really well with an occasional banger here and there.

TGCD and NITND are GOATed. Dead End Kings is decent. Everything else sucks. This band lost all hope when Anders left.

Tried listening to this again a week ago to see if I was just in the wrong headspace, and this is still easily their worst album in years. It's so incredibly bland for Katatonia and falls short on so many levels which is upsetting since I'm always looking forward to their next record
