Band has gotten so shitty and mediocre.

Apparently Adam only wrote half of the album (Abandon, Forever, Where it dies, Collusion, and Fall). Kind of explains why this album feels disjointed.

Tambourine on every chorus is pretty crazy. It feels like they’ve put out the same record 4 times in a row since Jesse came back. I’m still waiting for Alive or Just Breathing 2.

LMFAO Dave I agree, especially the mix having to be quite different due to the tambourines coming in is for sure off-putting on this record.

Most likely, but releasing three of the greatest metalcore albums back to back to back is fine by me

I was pretty much expecting Killswitch to just be Killswitch and some of the writing still ended up surprising me a little bit.

They’ve totally lost whatever made them special 20 years ago. Not a bad band, there’s just no magic in these recent albums.

Unfortunately for me the thing i often credit KE with, is their ability to write a tune here and there which rocks but also has a emotional pull, a gravitas about it, and this one just doesnt. Like the review suggests, theres nothing particularly bad about this one, it's just so vanilla, theres nothing special about it. Its missing 1 or 2 stronger tracks which has a stronger emotional pull.
