Admittedly it took me a little bit to sink my teeth into ETID but once I did they’re unparalleled

This is honestly growing on me quite a bit. Really love Greg and I think his variety is great, but also think he misses a few times here. If Future Myopia had a better chorus, it would probably be my favourite song here. He absolutely kills on Love as an Act though.

I think I'm going to join whoever that was who said they preferred how the EP sounded.
This is still a great listen

Idk, I don’t really think this is much worse than most ETID but god Greg just isn’t half the lyricist that Keith is, or was I guess because he’s ass on that Many Eyes record.
I think the EP just being a quick kick to the teeth helped it, there’s a few moments that drag here imo

i also prefer the ep by a little. better hooks and clean melodic sections. besides at all times that rules so hard.

Really glad that this album completely proved me wrong. I got really reactionary after that first single and the balladry of At All Times. I thought the band was just gonna put out some radio friendly octane core bullshit but man some of these songs are fucking bonkers.
Btw I never hated those two songs, I was just very afraid they were ditching the more chaotic nature of the EP and those tracks left me thinking the whole thing was gonna end up neutered. Glad to be surprised and can’t wait to see them next month.
Btw pt 2: whose dick do I have to suck to get Full of Hell to come to my neck of the woods? Gouge Away is a great replacement, and honestly fits on the bill a little bit better than a noisy deathgrind band but FoH is one of my all time favorites. Oh well, knowing these guys, I know it’ll be a good ass time.

One really minor nitpick, I feel like the sequencing near the end is a little off. Love as an Act of Rebellion is fucking phenomenal but it does not feel like a closer to me and I feel that clean guitar lead that closes it kinda is there just for the sake of it. Like they didn’t know how to make it a gratifying closer so they thought ah fuck it just throw some clean guitars at the end and call it. At All Times wouldve been a better closer imo

This band and Keith’s band should write diss tracks at each other.

I mean I know Greg writes all of the lyrics but Sacrificial Participant and 30 Under 13 are spiteful as fuck and they sound aimed at a very specific person tbh
And there’s a bunch of bullshit on the Many Eyes record that I can’t remember specifically but some of it sounded very aimed at Jordan/Andy

Kinda feel like if etid and Dillinger didn't exist before this that it would be getting more praise than it currently is. Album is fire. Tracks 1 3 4 9 and 10 are my top 5

I was hoping for more from Puciato (and the rest of em) here but they sound kinda bored, like they're just doing this because its the only way they know how to make money at this point in their life. A serviceable performance by a group of guys who are only pissed off because it pays the bills.

Disagree in a big way Orb. See some of their recent live clips. They definitely ain't bored and actually seem super stoked on stage
