I think I like this better than Lament, but yeah, it seems like this band wants to sound deep and interesting, but Jeremy's vocal performance really handicaps where this band can go in that style. I love him on the faster, heavier stuff, but his softer style doesn't work for me at all.

Seeing these guys Tuesday and am a bit surprised they are only playing 4 off of this. At least Mezzanine is among those 4.

They are playing more songs off of Parting the Sea lol

Seeing them again in January. As long as they play Tilde as an encore I'm open to everything lol

Better than Lament. Hilariously, the band have somehow become intensely motivated to out-mid Jeremy on this new album.

Feels bad; I give that dude shit for sounding like an aborted cat when he attempts to sing, but for like 80% of this thing he's sounding pretty good. It's a shame that his band has completely failed him on this one.

If this would have been an EP comprising Mezzanine, Altitude, This Routine, and Finalist, it would've been an excellent release.

ISB > S4 > Parting > Laments >= this

i havent come back to Dead Horse in a bit save for a few tracks so it feels unfair to rank

still not sure between this and Laments, feel like this is overall stronger but the production knocks it down.

might have to bump my stage four rating, that shit is too emotionally heavy for words.

after hearing that and putting on Disasters i gotta correct my comment about that being the heaviest sounding since Parting

might legit be the heaviest Jeremy has sounded since Dead Horse, dude's unhinged
