but actually the Live and Loose live album is probably his best release overall

Ghost of Your Guitar is a great release too. Though I guess the live album kind of makes that obsolete as it has most of the essential songs from that. There was a moment when “Someone Get the Grill Out of the Rain” was his signature song lol.

I haven't had an album sink its claws into me this hard in an incredibly long time and it's pretty far from what I'd typically listen to. It's actually got me kind of fucked up because the songs are stuck in my head when I try to sleep and it ends up keeping me awake.

I previously had zero experience with this person/band. I was on my way to an airport and the driver had FM radio on. A song came on and it was one of the worst songs I've heard in quite a while, so I looked it up based on the lyrics and it was "Joker Lips". Yikes.

i only liked two songs initially, but now i like the whole thing. "on my knees" is my fav.
if i had to choose between the drone and two more proper songs i'd def go with the latter. i struggle to comprehend why people say stuff like "it's a great drone piece". like, it could just be a river running or something and it would be the exact same nothing burger.

damn that sucks, hope you enjoyed the show though. they were fuckin awesome when I saw them in May. I was surprised at how hard they rocked out. the first song they did was an extended psychedelic jam with some truly awesome guitar work

MJ personality-wise is very subdued, didn't really talk much at all but he did make a grossed out face and shake his head at the cum line in Joker Lips
