Never listened to this band before. Despite my expectations I was enjoying the first track and thought this might actually be a good time, but most of what follows is hot fucking garbage. It’s not completely unlistenable, but it’s pretty damn generic and treads the genre lines uniformly. What really drags it down a couple notches from just being average are the lyrics and themes, which are insane levels of persecution-complex stuff given that the hate is entirely and unambiguously justified lmao. How does this guy unironically have himself nailed to a cross and attempt to portray the negativity as just a counter-culture figure getting undeserved criticism, while also using that mugshot as the album cover?
