all throne is good throne! that said i do love their return to more traditional heavy metal. their past few were getting a bit repetitive. really like the new one. first half really kicks ass, opener is so good. amazing simple crushing riffage. falls off a bit for me but it's a great album. very refreshing and i hope the next few albums are a bit more like the new one.

Opposite for me. I really enjoyed the 2nd half lol. I think the single/title track was actually my least favorite song. Really enjoyed deeply rooted, dry wells of hell and eon 4. And even though it's more like an interlude kinda song, so i marched to the sunken empire was a really interesting song from them. Cool atmosphere

Not hearing crust anywhere, but then again I've never really identified a lot of it in their supposed crust punk era. It's just their idiosyncratic view of mildly blackened heavy metal.
