Definitely will, I found this CD and bought it because the cover art made me feel nostalgic, I think they had the entire discography or at least most of it so I might have to go back.

Can't stress enough on awesomely consistent this band was. Every LP has some fantastic and different to offer. Too short a run :/

The fact that Music For A Nurse and Women Who Love Men Who Love Drugs (and, I guess, Savant) both exist within the same discog makes me happy on a fundamental level.

"Although unwilling to disclose their influences, Oceansize have a deep respect for the following: PinkFloyd,BlackSabbath,Can,Cardiacs,Jane's Addiction, (early) Verve, Swervedriver, The Beach Boys and Tortoise."

What about Radiohead? They never heard of them... (:

This took a while to grow for me, still more immmediate than Effloresce though.

Well...just about finishing it. I really liked some parts of it (even some Radiohead rip-offs). Everything is a little too much "by the book" and, sometimes, it was hard for me not to think of this as mashup 3 very well known bands - Radiohead, Tool, Incubus and yeah something else, that towards the end started to make more sense for me.

Got me curious about the rest of their discog.

This probably the most by-numbers of their albums tbh; Frames is prog gold

I'm way more impressed with their previous one, but still the same "originality issues". I'm yet to hear Frames.

Replying to a 7yo comment but I know Chino is still active on here. Their Wiki page has a quote from the singer about watching Radiohead at Glastonbury.

This is great but definitely prefer Effloresce because it tickles my Failure vibes. Just starting with Frames now.
