Thank you trilbro, definitely worth a spin if you're looking for some good atmoskramz. Give Glare a listen first and take it from there :]

Not many really good actual forum music places left today. Its mostly just ratings boards now.

No sense of community anywhere you go tbh, really sad state of affairs.

Forums in general fell by the wayside a while ago in favor of other forums of social media. Reddit is probably the closest equivalent that still pulls significant traffic, and even then it's not exactly like a standard forum style.
Kinda sucks, forums had their own unique sort of atmosphere, and the naturally slower pace is a lot nicer than the onslaught that some forms of social media can be.

Sput has a pretty tight community I reckon, otherwise we wouldn't all be here!

True Mars, there are some great homies on here which is why I stay. This is the only form of social media I use really besides YT and Insta for memes and music updates. TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, Reddit, all of those should be erased from existence.

"tundra come here and explain to me how this is metalcore"
fine, it's just a run-of-the-mill hardcore album, is that better?

yah reddit/social media was basically a forum killer. sadly karma and the isolated communities discourages dissent over there, and threads are rly only active for like a day or so. the latest sleep token thread couldn't exist over there - for better or worse lol. plus everyone is just a comment. don't rly recognize usernames

delete this, nephew

Kinda makes me wonder what it would take to upkeep this place. I noticed a little before I stopped ghosting, the forums were gone (I won't ask, seems to be a sore subject).

Refer to a few pages ago for the reasoning behind that.

This is my favorite Loma Prieta so far, there are some great highlight songs in their other albums but I find this to be less "chaotic" which make me enjoy it some more, if that makes any sense

"is there a way to get rym to display all your ratings on a single webpage like sput? this is the only major obstacle to my plan"
yes, "export your data" at the bottom of your profile

Oh shit man...thats...man I hate the industry I'm going into sometimes because of reasons like this (cyber security).

And also I save most of my ratings on a google sheet anyway (though I use a half decimal, 10 point scale).

You know, as much as I love I.V. and it's chaotic aggression the more I listen to this album the more I think this one is their best. Just keeps getting better, absolutely love the second half of this.

IV is prolly my 4th fave prieta rn tbh

I do think this is pretty ok but it lacks both the extremes that I loved about their previous work. I love the mathiness of Last City and also the chaotic Violence of Life/Less and I.V.
