Yeah, as a big country fan, by which I mean I love 50s, 60s, 70, 80s stuff along with a lot of more recent alt-country/Americana (and the occasional more recent radio artist), it's pretty shocking how I thought chart-topping country was horrible in like 2010 but it's only gotten worse since then.
