Outstanding album, the only aspect that I didn't like was that there are way to many songs with repetitive passages and/or choruses. (Brave new world, the mercenary, ghost of the navigator, Out of the silent planet)
In my opinion those kind of songs work better in a concert with the audience singing alongside Bruce where it just feels natural to repeat the same line 5-7 times. But if you aren't in the live show...well part of the magic is lost.
Still the album cover is my favorite.

Out of the Silent Planet has to be one of their most dynamic songs. Really wish they preformed it live.

Bumping up my rating of this from 4 to 4.5. It's probably one of the most important Maiden albums alongside their self titled and Number of the Beast. It was a great reunion album with Bruce and proved they still had it after the somewhat disappointed X Factor and XI. Also it's the album that got me into Maiden.

Fantastic album. My favorite was probably 'Blood Brothers.' That chorus ruled
'The Nomad' was epic too

BNW will be hailed as a classic after 10-15 years.

Ikarus14 you dindt fix it. This is Maiden's most overrated album easily, there's nothing really special about it and it gets boring at many times. The Nomad is an excellent song, anyway, but it doesnt make up for the rest of the album.
