Wagging Tongue has grown on me. I like how bits out of context could sound like a part of a longer prog electronic track. Would be so wild for them to just drop an Autobahn-like track as a swansong lol. Between that and People Are Good's verses, they definitely had a Kraftwerk itch while writing this one

For a late-era DM album it is pretty decent. Not sure though if it is THAT much better than Sounds of the Universe or Delta Machine; all have distinct profiles and are quite enjoyable, but my excitement about them tends to wear-off pretty quickly. Still, I dig the Kraftwerk influence on some tracks, and the band's still very good live.

Yeah, I know that's the general consensus, and I tended to think the same after this one came out. However, in my initial phase of excitement for MM I revisited their post-PTA discog, and was very pleasantly surprised how much SoU and DM are comparable to this in overall quality (even though I can't stand Peace and Soft Touch/Raw Nerve from those, so they're just out of the playlist). And I didn't think even once of jamming MM since around July, so I guess they're the same to me. Maybe its time that I revisit it.

Bit like with the new Cure, this emphasises the style of the band I like best.

I liked a lot of songs here. 'Ghosts again' and the video too are such a hit single, again. I never listened to this full album as much as I intended.

Got a ticket to see “M” at the local theater on Tuesday, reallly looking forward to it. New song didn’t impress me at all, but frankly, I don’t care.

I'd love to see DM live, also I like Caroline's Monkey as just a fun a song. People are good and so are the monkeys. I know they were paying some homage to kraftwerk and the like. I also think of "Clean" a lot. Heh. DM 4 Life.
SHIT!!!!! I thought this was one of the goofy songs, it has been a long time where I picked a random song, but heh uhhh this album I need a whole once over. I picked the wrong song, thought.

"M" was really great. The interludes about Mexico's attitude towards death didn't always work, but most of the time they did. The close-ups on Dave and Martin's faces revealed how old they actually are, which together with the tribute to Andy made the whole thing very moving. The setlist was as expected, with My Favourite Stranger and Wrong being standouts, and of course, with the always stunning live version of Never Let Me Down Again. The part where Martin sings "See the stars, they're shining bright, Everything's alright tonight" is probably my favourite in their entire discography.
