and a sizeable chunk of Harle/Cook's whole schtick stemmed directly out of taking Yasutaka Nakata's bouncy bubblewrap aesthetic from the late 00s/early 10s and turning it into undanceable plastic, and you're probably just enough of an ignorant dickweed for that to count as obscure go figure
