Nectar is my favorite track on this album and I prefer both this & Orchid to MAYH.

In my very poor opinion, I consider Blackwater Park, Still Life, Deliverance, Ghost Reveries, Morningrise & Orchid to all be better than MAYH. I don't think Watershed is though.

You currently have MAYH, Ghost Reveries, Blackwater Park & Damnation rated as Superb (4.5), but only rate Morningrise as Excellent (4). I know it's an excellent album, but how can it be THE best?

Having listened to MAYH many times I found it to be generally a great album (albeit poor compared to other Opeth albums!). The two tracks April Ethereal & Demon of the Fall are both excellent, but I don't find any of the others to be particularly special.



Morningrise has 4 outstanding tracks (and Black Rose Immortal isn't particularly bad either).

I can't get into Opeth! Why?

Listen to them more. It took me months until I realised how good they are
