first ovlov LP is iconic. it’s obvious he cares more about Stove tho bc the last stove album is arguably as good as the best ovlov, though different in ways. most recent Ovlov album is pretty mid by their standards tho unfortunately

im very late to the discussion and things have moved on a fair bit
but id like to say yes this is more like deftones than hum but also is very 90s shoegaze/alt rock in general, shiner better tho, male vocals on this are weak as fuck
and yes poison the well and deftones share a lot of dna
whole discussion is giving me 'august burns red and misery signals dont sound alike' vibes (they sound incredibly similar)
