Might be a good thing though in all honesty, it’s a bit different innit?

Liking this is a strange experience for me. Being from Scotland, most bands who put effort in to sounding excessively Scottish (e.g. Twin Altantic, post-Infinity Land Biffy Clyro) make me cringe. For some reason, this doesn't. Perhaps it's the genuinely scathing rage.

perhaps it is simply because this is good musics and those are not, The Twilight Sad pull off the Scotvox pretty darn well btw
This is so bizarrely easy to digest, really quite a palatable form of dissonance. Eerie but weirdly comforting. Maybe I'm just broken.
slaps anyway

Yes, it could very well be a simple case of Twin Atlantic being absolutely shite.

Early Idlewild was very endearing in their own right, but I am also not an expert on music with strong Scottish accents.

I still enjoy the first three Idlewild albums but the accent is more natural and not forced.

Sucks how his voice got shot, band as a whole is so far removed from their roots.
