Sure, bud. A fair review would be fine. It's perfectly acceptable to not like their sound, or to even bash them for the way tilian sings, the way swan plays, etc. But to act like this review is unbiased or objective in any way is just laughable.



Its like if I went and reviewed a Chat Pile album. I think they're awful, I can't stand anything they put out. But I also realize that if I were to review it, it wouldn't mean anything, as I'm too biased to make a quality review.

sad how much they fell off for me after tilian joined, I get that it sells really well since the mothership and beyond fans just eat this up but it's so creatively void now. all that made the band so special for me in the past seems lost

I think 1.5 is a bit of an exaggeration but this album is super stale and recycled. I've heard almost every part of it before. As much as is probably sucked for them, the tumultuous early years of this band kept them fresh. Maybe all the recent drama will help their next album be the start of a new phase.
