Don't think I've heard Prawn, but I definitely think the Moving Mountains comparison works, especially their earlier material.

Nice to see you enjoying, Lassie! All of Domestic Terminal's stuff tends to grow. It took me about a month to fall in love with their debut, and now it's a classic for me. This album is more immediate, but it is also growing on me as well despite the insta-5 (although I got the promo 2 weeks in advance, so it wasn't too "insta"), so I don't know what that says other than that the album clearly rules.
'Blessings and Curses' was my "3-4 days in" grower as well, Slex. At first I was like yeah okay they're going for something upbeat as a change of pace, I get it, but then I fell hard in love with the drumming patterns on it and then the melody started to stick like glue. The lyrics are also pretty outstanding. Love me some themes of cyclical/generational pain & suffering.

The Heavy Frigate resides in that area of subtle lo-fi indie-rock a la Ben Howard that I can't resist. I still jam Three-Dog Nights on the regular. Excited to see what you have in store for the next LP, anat!
