Szerencsétlen isn't even the craziest of the breakcore tracks on the album.

It's chaotic and confusing but in the midst of the mayhem, there's logic and a lot of enjoyment

this isn't really that crazy

i mean its super fast paced and intricate but its all also ridiculously rigid and technical

i dont know this sound just isn't something that resonates as crazy or chaotic at all with me. like i said its all feels super rigid and planned out, which actually works really well with what he's doing here so don't take it as a bad thing, but i guess that whole factor keeps me from really thinking of it as chaotic

i feel like something more along the lines of pen expers or lentic catachresis by autechre would be more fitting for that description

I thought of Lentic Catachresis too lol

Still have only heard one song from this (it was really good though), I remember enjoying how intricate and energetic it was but I don't remember thinking it was really chaotic or anything, it never felt like it was losing control despite how many sounds it was throwing

I guess "controlled chaos" (which isn't even really technically chaos) would be a better description

yeah, everything that Gwyn said. I love how much character the songs have and all the controlled chaos really has a personality of its own

Yeah, nothing wrong "Controlled chaos", when it's actually appropriate

It sorta reminds me of Flylo (or the other way around since this came first, but you know what I mean), especially on Los Angeles, where he just throws a whole bunch of sounds together in different bits but mixes them up without ever feeling clumsy, which is pretty impressive on its own

I've only heard Cosmogramma, I found that quite the mish mash of sounds in itself, but something like this is much harder to digest for any listener. I think if people stopped going mental at how glitched out the drums are in the first place, it would be a much easier listen

Yeah, that's because flylo is IDM while this is breakcore which is way faster and atonal

I was gonna listen to Autechre all night but I listened to Hajnal on Youtube and now I wanna give this a shot, gonna check once the download finishes

You mean you haven't heard this yet? Doesn't matter, you'll love it if you like Hajnal

I said I only listened to one song on my first post on this page. And yes so far this is pretty sweet.

Oh, my bad. If you liked this, you might like his recent one too, although it doesn't match this

I need to listen again eventually but after one listen the only problem I really have with this is that the beats are really samey
