Checked it out of boredom and yeah. Not terrible, opening track is pretty cool but the production on the vocals is abysmal.
Deftones worship is real. Blue Velvet's opening riff is literally a ripoff of Sextape and Battle-axe in one.

Sput is more fun and RYM is much better as a database. Imo they are not really comparable, but RYM does not suck whatsoever

I enjoy Deftones-core, so it's hard for me to not enjoy listening to this.
This reminds me A LOT of Scarypoolparty, at least, the stuff he was doing before his last record.

I'd take Moodring over Loath any day tbh.
That said, I think I heard the showmetherealyou EP way too many times this year so the new Moodring didn't hit as hard as it could have
