Their redux albums are the only things I've enjoyed material off of since Wind Shifts, and that's only because it's cool hearing some of the older songs redone. The bass in the Redux II version of Ides of March rules. I still only ever listen to their first two albums and 18 Candles, with the occasional spin of Arrivals and Departures.

I hate the Redux albums. I wish they would've just re-recorded WBIEF because the screams on that album sound horrible.

What don't you like about them? Like I said, I only ever listen to the re-recordings of the oldest songs from the first 3 albums so I can't really judge them as a whole.
And yeah Shane's screams are pterodactyl-y on WBIEF but I've listened to that album so many times that they just sound right to me.

A 3.0 and a relatively positive review doesn't sound like you hated it but your thoughts are pretty much what mine are - just listen to the re-recorded songs for fun if you throw them in a playlist or something. They're not great as full albums but it's fun listening to newer versions of the oldies.
