Yea after listening to this through twice while washing my car, I have to make this a 5. It's moving, well written, engaging. The production is spot on, the songs often flow beautifully into one another. The female angelic vocals blend so adeptly with the male growls. THe narrative about the gnostic faith characters is appealing. The instruments are always doing new and interesting things, setting a bleak tone you so thick and real you could cut it. A true monolith of a record. I am now very excited for the upcoming May release. I need to spend more time with Sovran next, in the meantime.
