To me, this is superior to Cali and BSSM!

The television-imitating flickering solo of Throw Away Your Television, the next-to Shadowplay most powerful Intro to a song ever in Can't Stop, the new-era of sound introducing filter-effects in Don't Forget Me and last but not least the overall next to The Beach Boys impressive vocal harmonies especially with Johns Voice! Also I have here less the feeling of a filler-track popping up whereas on Cali and BSSM there is. This makes up for the best album of the Chili Peppers in my book!

Seriously each song has there moments to me even though 11-14 is more a 4 out of 5 stars trackrow whereas most of the rest is more 5/5. There is minimal romantic kitsch in some of the ballads (i could die for you), but it doesnt feel too downy to me, i still enjoy them due to the great chords and textures!

This is probably their third best. I can't say for absolute sure. Still haven't listened to Mother's Milk, but their discog - Milk, this is third best.
