listening to this after getting into Dreamcrush, this is also really fucking good and clearly has the elements that make that album great too. I think Dreamcrush is better and more distinct, but that could be because its been my entry point. this does feel a too Deafheaven-lite at points. feels like they naturally evolved their own identity from album to album
