Amulet is possibly My least fav CS album but Amulet t/t is prob my fav CS song. Irony.

Agree that Juturna is best but Descensus is a close 2nd.

Circa Survive has maintained such a high level of quality throughout their entire career. I certainly understand having preferences, but I can't imagine loving their earlier output and hating this and/or The Amulet.

eh, I don't know. I believe they got sober after Violent Waves and you can kind of peg their sound as much more domesticated after that. I agree in that the actually quality has been remarkably consistent across their whole catalog, but there is something hard to place in Juturna/On Letting Go/Blue Sky Noise that I think some people miss in their later stuff.

OLG is probably my least fave. still love it doe. i feel like it's a little less poppy than BSN but still feels pretty poppy overall which is why i'd still categorize it as one of their pop albums yet that pop just doesn't compare to BSN's pop.

this is starting to kinda grow off me. i really like drift and the last 2 songs (even better is pretty good too albeit not as good as those 3) but the other two havent really been grabbing me on repeated listens
and yea olg is definitely one of their poppier albums feels like a bridge from what they were doing on juturna over to a bigger hookier style but idk id rather listen to either juturna or bsn where they fully commit to either aspect

Oh yeah, I'm in no way saying that I wish they were on drugs. I'd much rather have a healthy Anthony than another Juturna.
There's just an undeniably different energy on those first few records than their last few. Different doesn't mean better though.

if i could change one thing about this, id give Even Better a third chorus. feels like the only one where having it would definitely be beneficial. oh and id use that hook from the first verse again in the 2nd because it's just that good.
other than that, 0 complaints, keeps getting better, top tier Circa, best band
